Lisa Orkin or Dorkin Orkin, as some call her (probably, herself) has been mixing comedy, story, and marketing for over 20 years. She has created award winning commercials with the Radio Ranch and award winning Indie films with the likes of Adam Mckay and Shira Piven. She's a comedian, actor, writer, podcaster, audio director and a veteran solo artist, and storyteller.
Lisa has lots of crazy good ideas and she can write comedy dialogue like no one's business, has a special super power to tell a story with a beginning, middle and end in under 60 seconds (
check out her instagram feed), is a snazzy dresser and has a tailless cat named Violet. But she's not superhuman after all. She admits she's a terrible smoothie maker, can't draw, organize a drawer or park and drive like a grandma. She hates spreadsheets and coloring in the lines.
She can be present at your luncheon, yoga studio, living room or little or big business conference to tell you funny stories, teach you how to use comedy in marketing, how to get comfy on camera, in public or on a date. She has done all these things quite a bunch and like it and they like her and she has been known to bring special guests.
She's having a career change and not sure how it will go, but it will definitely involve doing comedy and having women's parties across America. Where mixture of laughter, cries, sharing and learning to take leaps. She has this awesome idea of mixing comedy and helping people brainstorm creative ideas for marketing and branding and anything streaming.
