CNN Royal Contributor Victoria Arbiter brings to her role a wealth of insider knowledge and expert analysis on the British Royal Family gained from a career that spans both sides of the Atlantic. Having joined the network in 2013, she was an integral part of its royal wedding coverage, led by Anderson Cooper, when the world tuned in to watch Harry and Meghan's nuptials live from Windsor in May 2018.
In 2012 she covered the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee celebrations live from London for ABC News and in 2011 she spent four months in England covering the lead-up to William and Catherine’s wedding for CBS News. On the day itself she anchored the event alongside Katie Couric and Erica Hill.
Victoria’s a regular contributor to Entertainment Tonight, Inside Edition, The Today Show, CTV (Canada), Channel 7 (Australia), and ITV (UK). She writes a weekly royal column for 9 Honey, the digital arm of Channel 9 in Australia, and she’s been featured in numerous international publications and documentaries. Her book on Queen Elizabeth II for the Pocket Giants Series was published by the History Press in February 2016.
More recently she’s had some fun playing “reporters” in the feature film Non-Stop starring Liam Neeson and the hit TV shows Madam Secretary, Person of Interest and Royal Pains.
On this episode, Victoria shares her one way ticket to Victoria Falls, Zimbabwe. She also offers her thoughts on the role and future of the British Monarchy, the late Prince Philip, Harry & Meghan’s Oprah interview, and why the Queen would be such an ideal traveling companion in Africa.
