What is Kriya Yoga? It depends who you ask! In this episode, I work to demystify this term. We look at how “kriya yoga” is interpreted by
🔹 Paramhansa Yogananda
🔹 Ayurveda
🔹 Patanjali in the Yoga Sutras
In this episode we talk about Yoga Sutra 2.1 and why I’m obsessed with this idea of “yoga in action” alluded to by “kriya yoga.” Jumping from a basic asana practice, where you move through each yoga posture for physical benefits, to a spiritual practice as outlined by the kriya yoga tradition can be a little confusing. But it doesn’t have to be! Listen to this episode to learn more.

I used to hear the word “boundary” and thought that it meant putting up an energetic brick wall. This was not fun (and not feasible). In today’s episode, I share practical tips about what I’ve learned on setting and holding boundaries with an open heart. Most of us have been conditioned to think that “boundaries = confrontation” and even physically tense up when we have to hold a boundary or say “no.” The tips I share today will help with that:
🔹Notice boundaries in nature
🔹Make your boundaries intensely personal (even if they are outlandish)
🔹Get clear and accept the boundary within yourself self (otherwise you can’t expect anyone else to uphold it
🔹Deliver your boundary with an open heart
Gratitude to one of my teachers, Kednra Cunov, who inspired the tips in this episode.

Ugh… that annoying “self care” word again. It’s overused. We know we should be doing it. But what is it really? Today, I attempt to dissect and lift the veil on what self care truly means (hint, it’s not just bubble baths). Listen and discover:
🔹The two-pronged “carrot and stick” approach to self care and how this relates back to the Yoga Sutras
🔹Why self care is an act of courage and not a luxury thing for the rich or “bougie”
🔹How an absence of self love manifests in toxic ways in our relationships
🔹How to have grace and compassion for yourself AND accountability and ownership
