We're going to release a mini-episode each month - this allows us to cover more cases, even the ones where there isn't enough for a full episode.

This month, it's the murder of Irene Auhll of St. Clair Shores. It's a throwback case for sure, but there are recent developments.

Written by Charity Dodd and Nina Innsted, audio production by Bill Bert.

This week, we have a presentation from the Sins and Survivors Podcast hosted by the talented Shaun and John. I'm sharing this episode about the disappearance of Karla Rodriguez - this is a case that needs more attention.

Karla Rodriguez, whom her family called “Karlita” was like any other 7-year-old little girl living in the Las Vegas Valley in the late 1990s. Her parents moved here to give their kids a better life and to pursue more opportunities.

Karla disappeared on the evening of Wednesday, October 20th, 1999, and hasn't been seen since, but her family has never given up hope that she's out there somewhere, that she had the opportunity to grow up somehow.

Police drew strong connections to serial killer Curtis Dean Anderson who was known to be in Las Vegas around that time.
