Today's podcast episode is all about self-defense with Andy and Michelle Cassady who believes that black belt leaders are made, not born. Their mission is to teach others to become black belt leaders and future leaders in society.

In the episode, I asked about their journey so far. What got them into self-defense, their motivation, and what drives them to teach this crucial thing.

They also shared their experience of training adults and kids, what's the difference between them, and the reasons they join their self-defense classes.

I also shared a short story about how my daughter dealt with a bully without raising her hand and also touched a bit on why it's important for women in this day and age to learn self-defense.

They teach Royce Gracie Self Defense Jiu-Jitsu which covers everything from situational awareness, stand-up self-defense, ground self-defense, as well as weapons defense. We touched on today's politically correct world and a bit about trusting your instincts and how those instincts can sometimes save you from trouble.
