We can stand on the Word of God, because the word of God stands forever. In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God and the Word was God. Jesus is the Word of God. All flesh is as grass; the grass withers and the flowers fall, but the Word of God stands forever.

However, we know it's appointed once for every man to die and to face the judgement; and we know we are living in the season of Jesus' return. Just as it was in Noah's Day, so will be the coming of the Lord, Jesus Christ.

As believers in Christ, we face many battles in our lives. The battles come in the form of sickness and disease, fear and intimidation, financial hardships, discouragement, relationship difficulties, grief, etc. But Jesus promises us victory in every battle. Victory belongs to Jesus.
