Today we begin the journey of studying Romans: The Gospel of God. Romans has perhaps the most thorough explanation of the Gospel in the entire Bible. Together we will undertake the colossal task of understanding each passage in order to more closely follow Jesus.
In the opening verses, we learn about Paul who is the author of this letter. We gain an overview of his background, how he came to be an apostle, and when and where the letter is written.
The Gospel of God reveals that there is hope for sinners like you and I, that we can be saved by the crosswork of Jesus Christ.
