Dartmoor is located in an upland area of southern Devon, England. Much of the area is protected by a National Park and it has the largest concentration of Bronze Age ruins in the United Kingdom. This land has been an inspiration to many writers. The landscape is full of standing stones, tombs, legends and spirits. Join us as we explore the history and hauntings of Dartmoor! The Moment in Oddity was suggested by Karen Miller and features the Longaberger Basket Building and This Month in History features Barney Flaherty becoming first newsie.
