If you experienced trauma in your life especially when it relates to your earthly father, it can be hard to have a relationship with God the Father, Jesus, or the Holy Spirit. Having a spiritual relationship with the “Creator of the Universe” is the last thing you want to do most times.
We also may experience some negative things in our Church and be greatly hurt by fellow Christians, but that should not cause us to leave and turn our back on our Heavenly Father.
