Zestful Aging

Jun 15, 2019

Judy Banker has dedicated over 4 decades to the field of eating disorders, entering the field in its nascent years and pioneering treatment and education efforts here in the U.S. and around the globe during her term as President of the "International Academy for Eating Disorders". However, music, in particular playing the guitar and singing folk and roots music, has always been a part of her life; starting with performing with friends and at family weddings, but eventually performing on stages with her late husband John, at local clubs and in a folk trio with a well-known Michigan songwriter, Jay Stielstra. When John passed away suddenly in 2012, music came to play a new role in Judy's life.
