In this episode of the podcast, I am joined by John, The Expat Property Guy. John shares his story of investing in property and how he has been able to achieve success in a challenging market. Together, we will explore some of the key insights from John's story. We will discuss the challenges of investing in property in Hong Kong and the UK, and how to overcome them. We will also share some of John's top tips for property investors.
John will encourage you all to network with investment communities. I will remind you all to invest for the long term. Property is a long-term investment, so don't expect to get rich quick. Invest for the long term and you will be more likely to be successful.
We will both urge you to diversify your portfolio. Don't put all your eggs in one basket. Invest in a variety of properties in different locations to reduce risk. And finally, we’ll leave you with this: be prepared to walk away. If you are not happy with a deal, don't be afraid to turn it down. There will always be other deals. These moments are almost always blessings in disguise.
